ABOUT JASON

Jason Heyliger-A.K.A.-Master-Jay-Cee-Executive Producer, Composer, Writer, Arranger, D.J. Jason Heyliger- executive producer, has over 30 years experience in Music as a Musician, D.J. And M.C./Rapper from the Streets of Harlem/Bronx in New York City. Jason started as a M.C./ Rapper in 1976 under the Teachings of the Original Never-Sober-Crew (out of ManhattanVille Projects, in Harlem, NY) which consisted of Grand Master-Kev-Ski, The Mighty-Mike-C, Great Peso, Troy-B, and Kenny-G. They're now known as The Fearless Four M.Cs. Which consist of Grand Master-Krazzie EDDIE, Master-O.C., The Mighty-Mike-C, Great Peso, The Micophone Wizard-D.L.B., and Amazing-Tito. He later ventured out into the streets of Harlem and the Bronx representing his own Crew The Super-3 M.Cs. Which consisted of himself, Eazy-D, Ronnie-D, and the Late (R.I.P.-Issac Waterman) Ikey-D. Until he linked up under the teaching the Late (R.I.P) Grand Magician-Master-Don & (The Infamous) Death Committee Crew which consisted of Pebble Poo (Now known as Dr. Pebblee-Poo, M.C.), Keith-K.C., Gangster-G, and Johnny-D.

Jason took a turn for the worst in October of 1983, after the death of both his parents, and an Aunt and went to prison for Murder and other related offenses for an extended period of 30 years on a 15 to Life sentenced which turned into 17 to Life during his incarceration in NYS prison system. He never gave up on his passion of music so during his incarceration under the teaching of Henry Gaskin-A.K.A.-Red Top. Henry Proctor, and Wyatt Brown, Jason began his lessons in music theory and perfecting his drum playing skills. It wasn't until the year 2002 that Jason began learning how to apply that knowledge to sheet paper under the guidance of his old D.J. Buddy Glenn Gynard-A.K.A.-Cisco from the Polo Grounds Projects while they were confined within Wyoming C.F. After Jason's release of incarceration on August-8th, 2013, Jason sought out putting his 2000 plus compositions back into his keyboard with his goals of starting his record label and establishing himself as a producer, writer, and composer of musical works for hire. He is self taught in music productions by use of Protools 10 & 11, and has released some of his works onto soundcloud.com.

Jason has been home doing what needs to be done it's a focused goal to succeed in today's society which is why he has named his publishing company "We Made It". Because if he could do it without turning back the hands of time or trying to play catch up and going back into the prison system then you can too, and if you have what it takes to Roc-A-Mic then he is there for a small fee to help you get in that door to success and not look back
